Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using vastate. By registering an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Seller", "User", or "you") and vastate Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("vastate", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the vastate platform, API, or any related services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Account Registration
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract.
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information including a valid GST number (where applicable).
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. vastate is not liable for losses arising from unauthorized access due to your negligence.
- One person or entity may not maintain more than one active account without prior written approval.
3. Use of Services
You agree to use vastate only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Ship prohibited items including hazardous materials, counterfeit goods, narcotics, or weapons
- Provide false shipment details, incorrect weights, or fraudulent addresses
- Use vastate to ship on behalf of third parties without explicit authorization
- Attempt to circumvent billing, reverse-engineer our platform, or access systems without authorization
- Use the platform in a way that disrupts service for other users
4. Shipping & Courier Terms
- vastate acts as an aggregator and technology platform. Actual shipping is performed by third-party courier partners.
- Delivery timelines are estimates only. vastate does not guarantee delivery within a specific time.
- Dimensional weight may apply - the chargeable weight is the greater of actual weight or volumetric weight.
- vastate reserves the right to cancel or re-route shipments that violate courier or legal guidelines.
- Shipments containing restricted items may be seized by couriers or authorities. vastate bears no liability for such seizures.
5. Payments & Billing
- Shipping charges are debited from your vastate wallet at the time of label generation.
- COD amounts are remitted to your registered bank account as per the remittance cycle of the respective courier partner.
- vastate reserves the right to revise pricing with reasonable advance notice.
- Disputed charges must be raised within 30 days of the invoice date.
- All amounts are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
6. Wallet & Recharge
- Wallet balances are non-transferable and cannot be converted to cash except on account closure.
- Promotional credits have specific validity periods and usage conditions.
- vastate may freeze wallets suspected of fraudulent activity pending investigation.
7. Liability & Claims
- vastate's maximum liability for any single shipment claim is limited to ₹5,000 or the declared value of the shipment, whichever is lower, unless additional insurance is purchased.
- Claims for lost or damaged shipments must be filed within 7 days of the expected delivery date.
- vastate is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses including loss of business or profit.
- Force majeure events - including natural disasters, strikes, or government actions - exempt vastate from liability.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, software, and technology on the vastate platform are owned by or licensed to vastate. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without express written permission.
9. Termination
vastate may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment. You may close your account by contacting support. Outstanding dues must be settled before closure.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Gurugram, Haryana. We encourage resolving disputes through our support team before pursuing legal action.
11. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms periodically. Continued use of vastate after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes via email or platform notification.
